Our Arizona Community

At Cox Communications Arizona we are committed to being the most trusted provider of communication services. We strive to honor this not just by the high-caliber of services we provide our customers, but also by giving back to the communities we serve. This pledge is a cornerstone of our company’s heritage and culture and was the driving factor allowing us to contribute more than $19M in cash and in-kind donations last year in Arizona.

Cox Charities Arizona is proud to support local non-profit organizations in Greater Phoenix and Greater Southern Arizona through sponsorships, charitable donations, public service announcements and other in-kind donations.

Our primary focus is supporting programs which target children, educational and technology initiatives and efforts. We believe this is the foundation to build highly productive citizens in society.

Community Support Review Process

After submission, your organization will receive a response within 45 days. Funding decisions are based on the quality of the applicant programs and alignment with Cox’s areas of focus. Additional considerations include the scope of each program, the overall impact on the community and current availability of Cox’s support resources. Preference may also be given to programs that provide a unique service, not being duplicated in the area.
Cox Arizona does not typically support the following:

  • Organizations located outside our areas of service
  • Requests benefitting only one individual person
  • Youth sports teams or individual school-based organizations
  • Organizations that discriminate
  • Endowment funds or foundations
  • Religious or political organizations
